AEP is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Contributions are used to operate the Amos Youth Centre and maintain its programs, to support educational sponsorships, continue The Breakfast Club (a daily sustenance program) and cover costs of shipping containers of donated goods.

AEP works hard to ensure that maximum benefit is attained for each dollar donated. Here is an overview of the current operating costs. The budget for the center is $1,500 per month for salaries, rent, utilities and programs. Educational sponsorships cost $180 per year for High School and $1500 per year for College. The Breakfast Club which provides one meal per day costs 25 cents for each student. Shipping costs are approximately $9,000 for a 24-foot container with 50 computers, 8,000 books and 1 ton of clothing.
