AEP Project - 2012 Educational Sponsorships
What is the purpose of the AEP Sponsorship?
AEP sponsors students, ages 12 to 22, members of the Amos Youth Centre, who cannot afford school tuition. Most of these children have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Some are also victims of HIV/AIDS. Many of them now live with older siblings or grandparents, by themselves or are the head of the family themselves. All students sponsored by AEP truly suffer from hardship. Without our financial support they would have no other option but to drop out of school. All sponsored students are active members of the Amos Youth Centre where they participate in various activities and help with younger children.

Donations of any amount are of course welcome, as every dollar counts. All donations to AEP are tax-deductible.

Here are recommended support levels:
When AEP started this program for the 2007 school year, 25 students received a sponsorship. In 2011, 185 students went to school and 15 to college. For 2012, we would like to enroll 230 students.

Please meet the 2012 recipients by selecting a grade level below. You can read their letter of application. AEP keeps a file for each applicant (family situation, report cards, etc.) So for more personal information regarding a specific applicant please email info@aeprogram.org.
